Sunday 5th. Feb. Leader: George M.

Due to very inclement weather it was decided to postpone this ramble until later in the programme.
A steep hill leading to the start of the walk and the threat of sub-zero temperatures may have caused an accident on the forecast black ice.

It is worth pointing out that the Ramblers not only organise and lead walks but also monitor the condition of paths and stiles.

The example below shows the result of a report by an RA member in Nov 2010 and the subsequent repair.
Three other faulty stiles in the area, between Baunton and Cirencester, have been replaced by new kissing gates.

...and after.
